Antonio Lucarda, painter and sculptor active in Italy in the middle of the 20th century and particularly in Venice, was one of Princess Chavchavadze's relations. She owned several works by the artist, acquired from him or received as gifts. Provenance: Count of Breteuil and Countess Elizabeth de Breteuil born Ridgway. Was originally at Château Breteuil. Jacques Peltzer family collection. Height: 47 cm off base.
