Jean COLIN (1881–1961). *La toilette*. 1912. Oil on canvas. Dimensions: 134 x 113 cm. Provenance: 19th exhibition of the Royal Society of Fine Arts of Brussels, then a private collection. The painting is featured in the catalog of this prestigious event, which took place from May 6 to June 19, 1912, at the Palais du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, where works by Rik Wouters, Emile Claus, and James Ensor—to name just a few—were on display.
