Nineteenth-century sculpture in finely carved ivory. The base of the robe is engraved with recessed motifs. Height: 20 cm. Sold with Cites certificate. Minor damage to the top of the sphere held in the left hand and to the end of the stick held in the right hand. The work displays the stylistic and technical characteristics of 19th-century European production, taking up historicist themes by reproducing earlier costumes and historical figures.
