The full contents of an 18th-century coaching inn with a fin - Lot 800

The full contents of an 18th-century coaching inn with a fine selection of antiques, art and collectibles spread over 600 square meters on the first floor and in a large barn. The contents include an eclectic range of furniture, paintings, glassware, porcelain, decorative objects and collectibles (including a collection of thousands of postcards in albums), which we have not quantified to the nearest unit, the whole consisting of over 500 pieces. A reasonable estimate is between 600 and 700 units (bearing in mind that a batch of glasses or chairs is equivalent to one unit). Some pieces are in the same state of presentation as they were several decades ago. The ensemble is generally in good condition, although some pieces (a minority) may be subject to accidents or old restorations. The property is located in Wallonia in the Beaumont area, postal code 6500. Viewings can be arranged by appointment only, but Saturday February 14 will be devoted to public viewings from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. without appointment. Please contact the office for the exact address. The owner grants the purchaser the option of loading the property over a period of up to six months without incurring any storage charges. Please note that responsibility for the contents passes to the purchaser as soon as the hammer strikes, and no claims can be made in the event of an incident. The photos illustrated are not exhaustive, but reflect the reality and layout of the premises. From the main entrance door opening onto a first large, richly furnished room, the visitor moves through a succession of rooms, all containing numerous paintings, furniture and curios. In the courtyard is a barn containing furniture and decorative elements in their original state. On request, we can send you photos and videos illustrated by group in this description.
