Fernand ALLARD L'OLIVIER (1883-1933). Bather with red scarf. Oil on panel. The signature in capital letters indicates that the work was produced before the First World War. It can be compared with "Baigneuses surprises", a painting he exhibited at the Salon des artistes français in 1912, with which he won his first prize in Paris. These are works he brought back from his vacations in Brittany, when he spent several summers in Penmarc'h.
