Georges VAN DE VOORDE (1878-1964). Study of a bearded man. Study in plaster preliminary to the ivory version where the subject is carved and hollowed out of an elephant tusk. Height: 28 cm. Provenance: Artist's studio. Collection of the Vandevoorde family since the mid-60s (the spelling of the family name has no space in the civil registry). We enclose a certificate of authenticity and provenance signed by Mr. and Mrs. Vandevoorde, the artist's grandchildren.
