Georges VAN DE VOORDE (1878-1964). Group with tied figures Plaster sculpture. Variant of the National Monument erected in Schaerbeek on the Place des Carabiniers in memory of the Patriots shot by the enemy during the 1914-1918 and 1940-1945 wars, which is attributable to the artist. In this print, the central figure is almost identical, while his right and left neighbors differ from the Schaerbeek statue. Height: 26.5 cm. Provenance: Artist's studio. Collection of the Vandevoorde family since the mid-60s (the spelling of the family name has no space in the civil registry). We enclose a certificate of authenticity and provenance signed by Mr. and Mrs. Vandevoorde, the artist's grandchildren.
