Théodore LEGRAS (1839-1916). Art nouveau vase in multi-layer - Lot 198
Théodore LEGRAS (1839-1916). Art nouveau vase in multi-layered acid-etched glass with gilded fruit and foliage. Signed in gold under the base Legras Cie Saint Denis Paris. Height: 37.5cm. A similar model appears in our catalog, but they are not presented as a pair: small singularities mean that each vase is an individual creation. In this model, the lower leaves meet, whereas in the other, they cross. Finally, the most flared part of the top measures 12.5 cm versus 15.5 cm for the variant.
