Bon sauvage clock. Model referenced in the Kjellberg encyclopedia as "Pendule au matelot" (figure A page 343). Empire period. Beautiful frieze with cherubs in a harbor landing scene. Dial signed Chailly in Lille. Model close to a drawing registered under Michel's name in August 1808 (Bibliothèque nationale de paris, source Kjelleberg). A model is kept at the Duesberg Museum in Mons. Height: 37 cm. Missing needle, no key or balance.
