Loni KREUDER is a sculptor born in Germany in 1940. The daughter of a painter, she began her artistic career by learning to draw, but soon showed a preference for sculpture. Inspired by the famous artist Renée Sintenis, she produced her first animal figures in 1960. Later, she placed the human being at the center of her work with realistic figures. She claims inspiration from Auguste Rodin and Henry Moore. Since 1974, she has been working in her own studio in Nettetal, evolving towards simpler, more abstract lines.
