Japan, circa 1900-1920 Bronze group depicting a young nude woman standing on a rock. Kakian on reverse lower left of rock. N.B. A similar model at the Victoria & Albert museum signed "Hiroaki". This sculpture is close to the works produced by the Tokyo School of Fine Arts, founded in 1887. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Japanese artists traveled to Europe to study with Western artists. H. 76 cm Expert : Cabinet Ansas-Papillon-Léry, Paris.
