Guillaume CORNEILLE (1922-2010). Tunisia, 1955. Indian ink. Titled, signed and dated in ink lower right. Stamp Atelier Corneille on the back. Dimensions : 46 x 69 cm. Framed by the painter. Some pitting on the paper. The certificate of authenticity of the Guillaume Corneille Foundation is attached. Painter-traveler, Guillaume Corneille reproduces the artistic path of Paul Klee in Tunisia in 1948, with the aim of joining Asger Jorn there. He returned a few years later during a stopover, this work is the testimony of this second visit. The rights to follow are applicable from 2000 euros.

Getiteld, gesigneerd en gedateerd in inkt rechtsonder. Stempel Atelier Corneille op de achterkant. Afmetingen: 46x69cm. Lijst gemaakt door de schilder. Een paar speldeprikjes in het papier. Guillaume Corneille, schilder-reiziger, reproduces the artistic pad of Paul Klee in Tunesië in 1948, with als doel om zich daar bij Asger Jorn te voegen. Hij keert er een paar jaar later terug tijdens een tussenstop, dit werk is de getuigenis van dit tweede bezoek.
