Tibet, early 20th century, Gilded bronze group enhanced with red and black pigments representing the four-armed god Yamantaka, one of the protectors of Darma, the wrathful form of Manjusri. He is depicted standing in pratyalidhasana on a buffalo lying on a female figure, reclining on a lotiform base. His vajravetali shakti at his side, the two deities holding their attributes including the tricula trident, the rope, the kapala cranial cup and the kartika chopper. H. 32 cm. Wear to the gilding. Tibet begin 20th eeuw, Groep in verguld brons versterkt met rode en zwarte pigmenten die de vierarmige god Yamantaka voorstellen, een van de beschermers van Darma, toornige vorm van Manjusri. Hij wordt getoond terwijl hij in pratyalidhasana op een buffel staat, liggend op een vrouwenfiguur, liggend op een lotiforme basis.
