Late nineteenth century icon painted on wood with inclusions of two small bronze icons on its rizza. On the left : Saint Pantaleimon holding his medicine box. In the center : Saint Nicolas. On the right: the Archangel Saint Michael. The representations on bronze illustrate, on the right, the Mother of God known as "Hodighitria", while on the left representation we are confronted with a scene from the life of Christ. (*) We thank our dear friend Jean Baptiste for his help in writing the religious iconography of some of our lots. Dimensions : 36 x 26 cm. Laat 19e-eeuws icoon geschilderd op hout met twee kleine bronzen iconen op de riza. Links: Saint Pantaleimon houdt zijn medicijndoosje vast. In the middle: Sinterklaas. Rights: the arteries of Sint-Michiel. The bronzes illustrate the Moeder Gods genaamd "Hodighitria" on the right side, so we can see a scene from the left side of Christ's face in the linker voorstelling.
