A Charles X period revolving dial clock with the effigy of Chronos revealing the passage of time through a large bronze urn in which the movement appears. Gilded and patinated bronze, red cherry marble. The world map symbolizes the 24-hour cycle. The laurel leaves are retracted to reveal the holes used to adjust the clock, the star in the center allows to regulate the course of time. Mechanism signed Honoré Pons (visible after dismantling and cleaning of the mechanism by the clockmaker Pater). 65 cm high. Some tiny perceptible chips. Some spots of oxidation of the gold on the dress.
